Team Management

Collaborate with your team by inviting members, assigning roles, and working together on time tracking and invoicing.

Overview

TikTak supports multiple users on a single account, so your whole team can track time and manage invoices together. Each team member has their own login and a role that determines what they can access.

Go to Settings → Team to see your current team members, pending invitations, and how many seats you're using.

Inviting team members

To invite someone to your team:

  1. Go to Settings → Team
  2. Click the Invite button in the top right
  3. Enter their name and email address
  4. Choose a role: Member or Admin
  5. Click Send Invitation

The invited person will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation. The link is valid for 7 days. You can resend or cancel the invitation at any time from the Team page.

Tip: If the person doesn't have a TikTak account yet, they'll be asked to create one when they click the invitation link. Their new account will automatically join your team.

Roles & permissions

TikTak has three roles, each with different levels of access:

Owner is the account creator. There is always exactly one Owner per account. Only the Owner can change roles and manage billing.

Managing your team

Changing a member's role

Only the Owner can change roles. From the Team page, click the menu next to a member and choose Make Admin or Make Member.

Removing a member

Owners can remove any member (except themselves). Admins can remove Members but not other Admins. Click the menu and choose Remove. A confirmation dialog will appear before the member is removed.

Managing invitations

Pending invitations appear below the member list. You can:

  • Resend — sends the invitation email again and resets the 7-day expiry
  • Cancel — revokes the invitation immediately

Accepting an invitation

When you receive a team invitation email:

  1. Click the Accept Invitation button in the email
  2. If you're not signed in, log in or create a TikTak account
  3. Review the team name and your role, then click Accept & Join Team
  4. You'll be redirected to the app with access to the shared workspace

The person who invited you will receive a notification that you've joined.

Plan limits

The number of team members depends on your plan:

Free 1 user (solo)
Pro Up to 5 users

The Team page shows a progress bar with your current usage. If you've reached your limit, you'll see an upgrade prompt when trying to invite more members.
